You've Got a Friend
Moments after falling down the stairs in an emotional frenzy, I sat in the wings of the stage with other members of Rampage by my side. I shove my swollen foot into my character shoe while squeezing the hand of Connor in attempt to deal with the pain.

The Gift of Life
I never thought that one small child could transform my entire world in such a short amount of time. At the end of sophomore year, my family welcomed my new cousin Morgan into the world. My whole life, I had been surrounded by guys in my family, and I was so excited to have another girl in my life. From the moment my aunt first found out that she was having a girl, I was constantly spending time with them to brainstorm name ideas. I have always been close with my aunt and uncle, more so than my other family members. I love spending time with them and their son Matthew, who is almost exactly ten years younger than me. I have always been able to turn to them for advice, or for any kind of help when I needed it. I was beyond excited for them to become new parents again, and I was also excited to welcome my new cousin into the family.

Too Skinny, Too Heavy
From a young age society implants an image in our heads of how we should behave, or what we should look like. But the thing about society is that it only portrays one side of things, a side that is often wrong, yet so many people still believe that it is right. Teenagers are flooded with images of models who are paper thin, with long, beautifully flowing hair, but what they don't realize is that this perception of perfection doesn't exist. Beauty is based on perception, and everyone, regardless of what pant size they wear, is beautiful in their own unique way. Just because you may not see it doesn't mean that everyone around doesn't.

It Hurts
It hurts. The type of pain you only know if you've experienced it, The pain of loving you. Spending time with you lets the happy moments seep into my brain, causing an imprint of the euphoric feeling you give off, a feeling I'll forever crave when you are no longer in my presence.
