I Love You
We were only supposed to talk to each other and get to know each other as friends who had just met were supposed to do. We had been standing on this street corner, staring at each other without saying anything for less than a minute. I couldn't help but stare into his deep, green eyes. Desperate for him to kiss me, though we had only just met. I started counting the seconds, knowing I shouldn't be doing this yet. My heart was beating faster every time he returned that stare.

I Don't Need To Wear Make-up Everyday, Just Because I Am A Woman.
I enjoy wearing make-up. I make it a part of my self-care routine, somedays but not everyday. I can sit at my makeshift dressing table for a good hour playing with the colours, which I usually do when I go out with family or friends.

My Missing Daughter
"Mummy, my ball is lost!" Jenna cried. They had only been playing on the beach momentarily before Jenna lost it. Lisa, Jenna's mum scanned the beach. She saw a young couple walking the dog who had the ball in his mouth. She held Jenna's hand and explained the ball belonged to Jenna, and that she had lost it. The couple were happy to let them have it back. Jenna smiled sweetly and thanked them politely.
