What You Need to Know Before Attempting #Vanlife
We've all seen those Instagram posts, beautifully clean van, back door open looking over an azure sky and a golden beach. It is enough to make any of us want to swap our lives for the promise of a life of freedom, beaches and adventure in a small space. Well it was certainly a dream of mine, and last year me and my partner did just that, nine months in a small space, driving around Australia in an old works van that we turned into our little home on wheels. Grief
Sitting around a bed with close family quite literally watching a loved one take their last breath is indelible. Long fights with cancer are more common than ever and yet nothing can prepare you for that final breathe, no matter how long you've known it's in the cards.

How to Explore More!
There are an endless amount of excuses for not getting out and exploring more while having a busy work life. These days most jobs don't just finish at 5 PM when you leave the office, and days off occasionally can be anything but that, especially if you have family commitments or a social life to keep up with. Routine
Every morning I have my alarm set for 5 AM. I wake up and have two pints of water before doing a 20-minute stretch routine followed by a breakfast of two eggs, scrambled, crispy kale, avocado, and toast. I'm then showered and out the house for a 7:05 train to work. Once my half-hour journey is over, I head to my favourite coffee shop for a black Americano and a read of my current book.
