The Pain That Comes With the Ability
Many people don’t really know me. I know that is something you might hear all the time, but I mean it. I’m not even really seen at work, and by this I mean I work at a processing office, all day long I work at a computer. Most of my employees don’t even know that I am even there. I am constantly ignored. I guess it makes it easier to keep my secret. I’m not like most people or even anyone. I have never met someone who can do what I do or even heard of it. I prefer to keep to myself and stay back and watch the people around me go through life. The drama, mystery, journeys, and stories. Each one of them different.

(Improved) Controlling Fear
Trigger Warning: Sexual Assault Content and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder That night was the night that changed my life forever. Changed my view on men and how I just walk around town. I would have never gone to that dance if I knew what was going to happen. Now, every time that I see him my body goes cold, and I struggle to catch my breath. That monster ruined my life for good, and there is no changing that now. I just wish that someone would believe me when I tell them the truth. If he did it to me there has to be more victims out there too. I can’t be the only one.

Howling at the Moon
I have lived in Idaho my whole entire life and I know what is it like to live in a small community. A lot of the time you are forgotten about because the whole world is focusing on something else. There are many mysteries that come with Idaho and the people who live here would like to keep it that way. The thing that most people don’t know is that we have many communities that are brought together and made stronger through difficult situations.

By Proxy
A young mother reported her son missing in June of 2001 and she never saw him again. She was walking to the park with her son in her arms. Loosening her arms to let him down and play. He was only two years old at the time, curious about everything and anything that was around him. His name was Liam Cooper, named after his grandfather. The young mother turned around to go get something from her bag and to sit down to watch her son play. That was the biggest regret that she has from that day. She turned back around and Liam was gone. She couldn’t find him anywhere. It was like he was never there, to begin with.

Service Dogs
Many people have lingering questions about service dogs and emotional support animals (ESA). I will address those questions first by explaining the differences between them. A service dog is a dog that is trained to complete tasks and alerts to help a person or handlers that is disabled. An emotional support animal (ESA) is just an animal that gives comfort to a person, with just the presence of the animal. The issue with today is that people are getting mixed up with public access between the two. Service dogs have to ability to go almost every place that the handler can go. There are only a few exceptions like churches, synagogues, kitchens where food is being prepared, sterile rooms and more that they can not go. This is because it is unsafe for the dog and potentially the handler. ESAs are only able to have access with housing in places that would normally not allow pets, travel help like hotels, and even flying. ESAs do not have the training in order to be allowed to have public access and there is no real reason to have them in public. All they are there for is to give comfort to the owner they do not complete tasks to help the owner. When someone brings an ESA into public it can harm actual service teams and do more damage than good. There are many different types of services dogs that complete different tasks for their handler. This can be anywhere from guiding their handler that is blind to alerting them that they are going to have a panic attack. Service dogs give the disabled a way to gain back their independence.

Chronic Pain
The thing most people take advantage of is that life can change for the worst within seconds. They walk through life as they own it and nothing can stop them from making their goals. That isn’t the true reality of life though unfortunately. We can’t predict that you will be hospitalized in a week or even at your healthiest point in life. I for one didn’t think that I would be healthy one moment and sick the next. I don’t feel like I was someone who took advantage of the way life works either. I am just a small teenage girl who got the bad end of the stick, unfortunately. It is just one thing after another, after another that seems to want to make life a lot harder to handle than it already is.

Elven Mystery
I sit on the soft moss that was growing throughout the tree, thinking to myself about what I could do to help the dying elven citizens. Were they poisoned? If they were poisoned, then why wasn't I poisoned? I don't understand what is happening here. Everyone is dying. The next thing I know, I hear a deep voice behind me trying to give some words of support and comfort.
