Anxiety, the term no one likes to talk about.

This term can mean having a phobia of a certain thing. It can mean being fearful of a certain someone or something. The simple act of anxiety is a mixture of so many things.

When I first found out I had anxiety it was hard because I felt alone and like no one understood how I was feeling. This alone made it worse. It was not until I had my breakdown that I realized how bad it was and that I needed help. It opened a door for me. Let me see what I have been bottling up and what caused it.

After realizing I had been living with this I went and sought out help and I was told to I had anxiety depression disorder. Which opened up a whole new light as to the way I felt too.

Depression the one that is worse. We all have some form whether we want to admit it or not. Living with is is not a choice we get to make

"Just get over it," "All you have to do is stop." These words... they are not true. We can just get over it and we definitely cant just stop..

If that was our choice, we would have chosen to never fall down this path. So many people are affect by anxiety and depression. It could be your siblings or your significant other and they may never show signs.

But inside.. they are struggling to keep above the waters. They are drowning. These are the things you can do to help them stay afloat.

Do not tell them it is all in their head. Just because you do not understand it doesn't mean it imaginary. To them this is real and it affects them greatly.

If they cant move, don't force them. Lay with them, be there. The things you thing are just "little things" may be what helps them get out. It could be the one thing they needed to hear.

Depression can be a scary place. It is dark and muggy down there. It seems like there is no way out and that you may even be stuck there forever. If this is the case, go outside. Get fresh air, even if you feel like you cant move. Imagine being outside and just let it all go. It is okay to be mad and cry. Tears are a way to let things out.

The leading cause of depression and anxiety is keeping things bottled inside. Hiding how you truly feel. Feeling too over whelmed by what you feel to say it.

YELL IT OUT. don't be afraid.

If ever you are having feeling of suicide or harming yourself or other please get help. Living with a sibling, not knowing they were struggling so much hurt not only them but also the loved ones around them. Seek help, even if you do not think they will understand.

Explain to them what is going on. It is not always dark, light will prevail again. You must WANT to get better. Until then you have to work on being able to want to be in a better place.

Even the slightest of change can help. Move your furniture around. Change the way you have your pillows on your bed. Move your night stand to the other side. change it up.

This can make old habits change and get that kick start you may just need.

Again if you are having thought of harming your self or other please contact this hotline and they will help 1-800-273-8255 they are available 24/7. If you don't want to call them seek guidance in someone you trust. whether that is a friend or a relative it mom or dad. It is going to be okay and just stay strong.
