What go through our heads who's suffer from Mental Disorders!

Every year 42.5 million teens suffer from a mental disorder in the United States mostly depression, anxiety and bipolar disorders. According to News Weekly. First, I’ll discuss what’s health disorders and the common disorders. Secondly, how Mental disorders damage a person emotionally and physically. Finally, what mental disorders lead to untreated and what you can do to interact and comfort people with a mental disorder.

Mental health is a person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being.

The question is are there more than one type of Mental disorder? There’s over 200 types of mental disorders including the most common six I will be talking about: Depression, Bipolar, Anxiety, Eating, Mood, and Addiction disorders. Mental disorders includes our social well-being and emotions. Mental disorders do affect the way we feel, think, behave, handle stress, interact with others, and make decisions. Mental disorders play a huge part in humans’ life. According to the National Institute of Mental Health. (NIMH)

Secondly, I’ll discuss what Mental Disorders do to a human emotionally.

It may be difficult to determine your feelings. That’s why somebody is here to help. You are most likely to experience sadness, madness, pressured, feel over or under weighted. According to the National Institute of Mental Health. (NIMH) What Mental Disorders does to you physically is even more devastating! Mental disorders make you feel different as if you are not like others and you are most likely to starve yourself or commit suicide. Letting yourself starve can cause your body to turn muscles into protein. Although your brain can survive on protein, your muscles will slowly disappear. Your metabolism will slow down and your body starts using less energy, which I learned from a doctor. Mental Disorders can cause you to think about suicide. It can make you feel as if you don’t belong or as if no one cares no matter your circumstances or any other problems. If you don’t get help you may feel you want to take your life away. Which is never a good thing to think about or act off. Somebody cares about you and loves you. Reconsider your decision because it’s not the smartest you made.

Thirdly, I’ll discuss what mental disorders can lead to untreated.

The damage that Mental disorders can cause on a human body? Any disorder can cause a person to eat or sleep too much or too little, yelling and fighting with friends or family, you may hear voices or believe things that are not true, and the most important are feeling like nothing matters, feeling unusually confused, forgetful, angry, on edge, upset, worried, or scared, and thinking of harming yourself or others. According to Mississippi Health Department.

What can you do to comfort and interact with people that has a Mental disorder?

• If they are going through something make sure you let them know their life do matters even if themselves or others says otherwise.

• Get professional help if it comes to that point.

• Try to be positive and supportive around that person for they will not feel any different emotions.

I shared my points about what mental disorders is and how it can affect a person emotionally and physically and what mental disorders can lead to if untreated and what you can do to comfort people with mental disorders. The question I want you to take time and think about is...Do you want to help lives or demolish lives? A wise man once to me the choices you make today shape your world tomorrow. The choice is yours make it count for the long run.
