What Happens When the Old Ego Is Being Reshaped?
Are we ready to see the world through a new lens?
Gradually, as the old mindset or ego evolves beyond the old way of doing things, it can be very challenging with seldom mood swings or situational depression. We may conclude we are going down the wrong path. Before surrendering to panic, we should ask ourselves: What is happening, why is life starting to feel so challenging, and how do I move forward?
Expanding is growing beyond our inexperienced mindset, commonly known as the "default personality." What is the default personality? These are characteristics or habits we tend to revert to that we have adopted throughout our lifetime. The conscious human should cultivate their unique blueprint to live freely and authentically. However, what makes the removal of the old ego or default personality we lived with since birth cause life to feel challenging?
The Ego
The EGO is a physical human's characteristics; it is holding on to an idea or means we have created as an extension of who we are, a mask. Thus, the "too proud, vain, or extreme intellectual human" or the "money is everything so I hold on tight to what I've built" kind of individual, these are significant accomplishments indeed, but they are not who we are. Some humans go through voluntary changes by making repeatedly wise choices physically, mentally, spiritually, socially, and financially creating a healthy well-balanced lifestyle. However, some experienced involuntary trauma or repetitive wrong decisions making that causes the mask of the ego to be ripped off—we have become bare sort of speak. We are embarrassed; we feel shame, there is absolutely nothing to hold on to; sometimes other humans can add to the feeling of hurt and embarrassment because they come to watch how bare we've become. Know that the ego will cause us to feel many emotions.
What is happening to the ego? Our perception is shifting. As we started to cultivate the right understanding, regardless of where it derived from, we began to experience a renewed sense of life. At some point, our behavior, speech, and habits that attracted us to certain people or activities were of the old ego or default understandings. We are reshaping our thinking. New experiences will feel challenging because it's unfamiliar; it's like rebirthing who we are without a parent showing us how to walk, so the inner child fears WILL kick in and we can find ourselves in a feeble position throughout this new journey. We may have great supportive group of people around us, but the journey is internal, and the more we heal our own sense of trust organically, we will naturally build confidence that we need to push forward.
Mood Swings and Situational Depression
The reshaping of the mind can be very challenging with seldom mood swings that are triggered because we no longer have the old way of creating or processing the world around us. Situational depression happens when we can no longer produce the stimulus that triggers confidence; all those feelings of inadequacy are what can put us in those feeble positions. When there is a feeling of uncertainty, it can sometimes cause us to fear growth and abandon the very action to move forward. Why? All sorts of cognitive recognition of normal stimulus and memory patterns play a huge factor. The mind and the body recognize the routined feng shui sort of speak. Although the ego projects outwardly, it is developed and worn internally when we begin to operate outside the unfamiliar textures the feeling of fear or uncertainty began to take over.
The Mind's Interpretation of Intangible Texture
Well, the texture of an environment is what the mind recognizes; it is the most solid sense next to physical touch, as the brain immediately put out these energetic signals or sensory that the body can feel in search of familiar or comfort. We sense what's around us without really having it be concrete. Sometimes our feelings can mislead us ONLY if we have voluntarily and continuously made the wrong choices by listening to our emotions—not completing it with rational thought.
