Which Fidget Toys Are the BEST!?

#ADHD

Fidget toys are a great thing for everyone to have, but they are also very useful tools for people with ADHD and ADD. If you don't own any yet, then I have some good news! I bought and tried a bunch of different fidget toys to let you know which ones are the most fun, and which ones are the best for channeling my ADHD. I hope my article helps you out!

1. Edamame Popper

This is my personal favourite, I own more than one so I can keep them on my keychains. They are the perfect thing for me to fidget with and they look cute!

2. Foam and Slime

They are cool, fun and, usually quite affordable... but they don't last long. Hairs and dust find their way inside them, and if their fun bright colours fade quickly.

3. The Fidget Cube

Everyone has one side of the six-sided fidget cube that they love the best. I like the three silent buttons and the switch. However, sadly the fidget cube lost it's shine very quickly to me.

Be warned: Knock off versions of the fidget cube aren't as good. Their buttons don't have that satisfying 'click' to them.

4. Squishes!

Squishes are slow rise toys that are usually shaped like cakes and other foods. The one I bought was a purple poop, not kidding. I do love it and it was a lot of fun... but it didn't help with my ADHD tendencies at all.

5. Stres Balls

The classic stress balls, I will always recommend stress balls! Not only do they help with stress, but they also strengthen your hands.

The Dreaded Fidget Spinner

  • If you haven't already, please don't buy the fidget spinner, it really isn't worth your money or even your time.
  • I have no idea why it got so popular so fast, and now you can buy them for 30 cents in the clearance section of almost any store.
  • People said it was supposed to help with ADHD... but everyone with ADHD knows that it doesn't.
  • The problem with the fidget spinner is that you don't actually fidget with it... you spin it. Then you do nothing.
  • The spinning itself is also very distracting.

Stress balls and the edamame poppers are the best!

I tried them all, the fads, the classics, and the newest fidget toys. The two that were the best at helping me with my ADHD was the classic stress ball and the fun and cute edamame popper.

Thank you!

I started blogging about a year ago, and I promise you that my work has improved significantly since then. I’ve taken online classes about writing and I am doing my best stay away click bait tactics. It would be really awesome if you join the adventure and maybe even help me think of what to write about next. If you would like to submit some feedback or ideas, you can always tweet me on twitter.

Donations

Er... ummm.... this is awkward. So it turns out writing doesn't bring in the cash. There is a donate option at the bottom of this page and every dollar counts. No pressure... just thought I would mention. Thank you either way!
