Guy: You never know how someone is feeling. You never know if they're close to breaking... You just never know.

Girl: For once in my life, I don't want to be invisible. I want someone to finally notice me and not take me for granted like everything else in life.

Guy: Just because you can't see the tears, just because you can't feel the pain, doesn't mean she's okay. She's just too strong to show how vulnerable you made her. There's truth behind every "just kidding." Knowledge behind every "I don't know." Emotion behind every "I don't care." And pain behind every "I'm fine." Need a smile, text me. Need a laugh, call me. Need a hug, come see me. This road ahead of you is going to be bumpy and scary, but I'll be in the passenger seat. Always there... Always for you... whenever... wherever... however. I’ll protect you with every last breath in my body, I'll hold your hand when you need a friend. Look behind, I'm there to protect you! Look to your side, I'm there to guide you! Look in front, I'm there to defend you! God in heaven, God above, please protect the friend I love.

Girl: I wipe my eyes and take a breath to steady myself, then day after day I push through the pain, hiding the fact I'm dying inside.

Guy: You can fake your smiles, but you can never fake your tears and feelings. Lord, I'm praying that you carry the burdens, wipe the tears, heal the hurts, free the fears, so many are hurting, asking to be set free; Even as the tears fall she fakes a smile and holds her head high.

Girl: When you're all alone and the tears are creeping in and the depression takes over, there's nothing you can do to stop it.

Guy: When somebody cries, it's not just over one thing. It's built up anger and emotions that they've been holding in for too long.

Girl: For once in my life, I would like to know that everything will be OK. just plain tired of not being good enough.

Guy: If a girl has a wall up, it's because it was built. Brick by brick. Lie after lie. Heartbreak after heartbreak.

Girl: Sometimes when I say, "I'm okay." I want someone to hold me close and look me in the eyes and say "I know you’re not. “I’m sorry I'm not perfect. I'm sorry I'm not beautiful. I'm sorry I'm never good enough... I'm sorry. If you only knew the pain I am hiding behind all my smiles.

Guy: Look at her smile, I bet you can't tell her heart's broken or cracking slowly. But if you look in her eyes, you can tell it's completely breaking and shattering.

Girl: Nobody cares, nobody can see what’s going on deep down inside of me...But if you could, you would know I am so ready to go.

Guy: She hurts and she cries, but you can't see the depression in her eyes, because she just smiles. When a girl doesn't think they're pretty or good enough... Just remember. Somebody made them that way.

Girl: I'm tired of looking in the mirror and seeing a reflection full of pain and tears

Guy: When you feel like giving up, put your hand on your chest, you feel that? That's called purpose. You are alive for a purpose, remember that. People do care. The only thing that hurts worse than your own pain is seeing the one you love in pain, knowing that you can’t do anything to help them.

Girl: The smile you see is fake, the laugh you hear isn't real, the voice you hear is so close to cracking, yet if you ever looked into my eyes, you would know why. You don't see my tears because I don't let you. You don't see my scars because they are only in my mind. You don't see the sad face because it is always hidden.

Guy: All she wants is for someone to see through her smile and realize something's wrong and give her a hug for no reason, even though they both know she needed it. Her smile tells lies, her soul shows the truth, her scars prove it wasn't just another nightmare...

Girl: I'm just another screw up, brought into this world by mistake. I might act like I’m happy, but on the inside, I am hurting and wanting to give up. I want to be happy, but I am afraid that if I am happy, something comes along and ruins it.

Guy: Depression is not a sign of weakness, it just means you've had to be strong for far too long

Girl: You ask if I'm OK. I say ya, but if u look in my eyes, past the smiles and the lies, you can see the true pain and the tears that are coming. I wish my life would pause just for a few while I took a breath. No matter how hard you try, it just doesn't seem hard enough. “I’m fine" is the biggest lie I have ever told.

Guy: No smile is more beautiful than the one that struggles through tears. Just because her eyes don't tear up, doesn't mean her heart doesn't cry.

Girl: DESPERATION: When you rearrange the letters, it says: A ROPE ENDS IT.

Guy: She was a great artist, but there is a twist. Her paintbrush was a razor, her canvas, her wrist. Sometimes it's the one who you think is the strongest and the happiest who is really the weakest and the most hurt. They just hide it behind a smile and a lie.

Girl: Even if my arms were long enough to reach out for help, who would I reach out to? I have nobody but myself. Every time someone asks me if I'm OK I nod, and then turn away so they won't see the tears well up in my eyes. I may have a smile on my face, but I have sadness in my heart. Does anybody really care? Or do they only care when it is convenient for them? If you just look at me, you will eventually see that this smile is not what it used to be. Sometimes I just need and want a simple hug, maybe a kiss, anything to feel special and not like this!

Guy: I'm just wondering why we always say, "I'm fine," even though we are falling apart inside...

Guy: Her heart is broken the pain has taken its toll Her eyes and smiles lie her soul and tears tell her story she waits for people to see... but nobody does. Nobody listens to silence. Yet, silence is the loudest thing we hear.

Girl: All I wanted to do today was collapse into someone’s arms and cry, but there was no one there to catch me

Guy: The saddest thing about depression is when someone cries out for help from their pain and no one listens. You can see the smile she shows, but not the pain she hides deep within her eyes... sometimes life just hurts...
