Can You Make Money Writing For Vocal?
This will also go for sites like Medium that have the same concept of pay-per-click articles. People have been publishing on this platform for years, with dozens of articles from independent writers being uploaded every single day. It’s not exactly clear on how many visitors the website gets at any given time however, so answering the present question may get a bit tricky.

Tips to Surviving a Toxic Work Environment
It's safe to assume that we've all had a least one awful job. Maybe the actual duties of the position were terrible, or maybe your boss and/or coworkers made you miserable. Either way, it's something we have all experienced.

Why Montréal Is the Greatest City in North America
I never had much opportunity to travel outside of my home country of the US, so recently when I was able to spend four days in the city of Montréal, Quebec, I was ecstatic. From what I heard, the city is a hub for arts, culture, food, and music, all of my favorite things. I stayed in an AirBnB in the nearby suburb of Chambly (which has an amazing cafe and pub culture I might add), and made the 35 minute commute to the city every day.

Common Misconceptions About Asexuality
Probably among the most underrepresented groups under the LGBTQ+ umbrella with our only major representation coming from Todd Chavez on BoJack Horseman (not a complaint, I love Todd). Due to this, I thought I'd compile a quick list of common misconceptions about our asexual peers. And if you've found yourself thinking any of these, I hope you're open to learning more and possibly changing your mind. None of us are mad, we just want people to understand.

Flower or Shatter?
With marijuana laws changing all over the country, and use becoming much more common (and tolerated), it's not surprising that people may be branching out and trying different things. And while pipes, joints, blunts, edibles, and bongs are all great, there's another increasingly popular method that is making its rounds, concentrates.

Why the Gillette Commercial Is Important
The recent project released by shaving company Gillette, "We Believe: The Best Men Can Be," has fallen under a ridiculous amount of scrutiny since it's debut on January 13, 2019. The aim of the project was to make a public statement regarding domestic abuse, bullying, and many other prevalent issues in our society. It brings up how certain societal/cultural influences can contribute to these issues, and how men often have a major role in both it's prevalence, and it's prevention.

Creed Is the Best Character on 'The Office'
Yes, we all love Michael Scott, Jim, Dwight, and pretty much the entire ensemble of The Office. With memorable moments, quotes, pranks, and even some tearjerking scenes, that show has become one of the biggest pop culture phenomenons in history. Every character (even Ryan) have likable qualities that still draw us to binge watching the series on Netflix at least once a month. But who was the greatest member of that cast of lovable goofballs?

Why Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Is the Future of American PoliticsTop Story - January 2019
The smart-talking girl from the Bronx who has no limits when it comes to slamming the President is making history every single day. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (or AOC) became a senator in a landslide victory this past midterm election, and as she continues to propose legislation and state her cases for everything from racial justice to economic equality, she also represents the future for young people in our political system.

Why Lo-Fi Music Is So Popular
I'm sure when you open up YouTube's homepage, you see a little red "live" marker and an anime thumbnail. Often labeled as "chill beats to study to" or something of that effect. Lo-fi hip-hop instrumentals and other chill-beat styles of music have been all over the place. These playlists and compilations have millions of regular listeners and the artists are becoming just as popular. Heck, the YouTube channel, ChilledCow only posts other people’s music (they haven’t produced any original content) and have over 2 million subscribers as of January 2019. So why are lo-fi/chill-beat tracks so present in the current pop culture?

Why We Need a New Rage Against the Machine
Who here remembers when the historic rap-metal group Rage Against The Machine burst into the mainstream? I don’t because I was only two years old when they broke up, but I do listen to them on a regular basis and consider them to be one of my favorite bands. Zach de la Rocha’s rebellious, left-winged, resistance-charged lyrics, Tom Morello’s innovative and expressive guitar work, Tom Commerford’s driving bass lines, and drummer Brad Wilk’s funk sensibilities, all contributed to creating one of the greatest politically-driven bands in history. Due to a wicked time of change of cultures and politics in the 1990s, this band emerged as the voice for the underrepresented and neglected classes of people and ideas.
