My Surgery for Hidradenitis Suppurativa
Hello Everyone. Recently I underwent surgery 3 weeks ago for my Hidradenitis Suppurativa. I had it done at St Thomas' in London. This was a massive step for me, I was referred for this surgery back in April/ May time of this year. I had a consultation with the lead surgeon around 2 weeks after my referral, which I thought was great.

How I deal with Hidradenitis Suppurativa
Hello Everyone; I hope you are all doing well and keeping safe. I am so sorry for not posting for such a long time. I have only recently gone back to work after taking 3 weeks off for my mental health. Before I went back to work they informed me that I would be doing wake nights instead of day shifts. So I have had to completely change my sleeping pattern. I am having to stay awake from 8 pm until 8 am so I am not sleeping properly during the day which is why I haven't had the motivation to post. To be honest I haven't had the motivation to do anything recently.

Being Assessed as Foster Carers
Hello Everyone; It's been a while since I've last posted. It's been a very busy few months for all 3 of us. Grasiey has just started year 11 and she is studying her GCSE's and doing her best which is all Mason and Myself can ask of her. We have regular contact with her school and have meeting to see what we can do and what they can do to help her with her studies.

My update for Hidradenitis Suppurativa
Hello Everyone; I just wanted to update you all on how my life has been going living with Hidradenitis Suppurativa Recently I have been to a specialist appointment in London with the Hidradenitis Suppurativa Clinic at Guy's Hospital near London Bridge. My appointment was Monday 15th February at 8:45 am. Making my way to the appointment took 1 hour and 10 minutes. The appointment went really well, I went into the appointment with a poor mindset, I wasn't expecting to come out of the appointment. I was expecting them to tell me that they are just going to put me back on antibiotics and tell me that I have to take them and hope for the best.

1 year later
Well, it has been a very eventful year, to say the least. My partner and I have been guardians of my sister for a full year now. There have been many ups and a slight equal amount of downs. She has fully adapted to living with us and we have also grown to adapt to living with a teenager. We never thought this would happy but I am grateful that it has happened. I have had to grow up so much over this year, I am thankful to her because of this.

This is my story of how I live with Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS for short) About Hidradenitis Suppurativa: Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a painful, long term skin condition that causes abscesses and scarring on the skin. The exact cause of hidradenitis suppurativa is unknown, but it occurs near hair follicles where there are sweat glands, usually around the groin, bottom, breasts and armpits.

Being a Carer for my Boyfriend
Hi everyone, This blog I will be explaining about how I am my boyfriends Carer and how I help him on a daily basis. My partner of 5 years for a while now has been suffering with pains in his joints and lower back pains. He went to see a doctor to get tested for a certain gene that runs in his family. He found out that he has Axial Spondyloarthritis, which is a rare form of Arthritis that runs in his family.

I'm 23 years old and caring for my 14 year old sister
My partner and I have recently become the guardian of my younger sister who is 14 years old. She came to live with my partner and I, 4 months ago, bear in mind we only live in a 1 bedroom flat. There was a lot to deal with at the time and so many emotions where high, she was dealing with the feeling of not being wanted by her own family. She at the time who was 13 years old had a lot of angry and hate towards certain people in her life. She felt unwanted and unloved, which breaks my heart to even think that she thought that.
