Bio
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a writer. I tend to see life as a series of snapshots and magical moments. My six children are grown now, I am retired, and I would dearly love to pursue my love of the written word.

Cannabis Love
I have been extremely fortunate to be a part of the upward spiraling Medical Marijuana community. I really didn’t know a whole lot about cannabis before I started working in a grow facility. A few of my friends smoked marijuana and I did occasionally as well. As someone with a background in medicinal herbs, I was very interested in the CBD aspect of the plant. I found that taking CBD oil helped me ease the daily pain from arthritis and gave me more focus in my daily routines. So, when my husband told me that the facility he worked at was hiring a bud trimmer, I jumped at the opportunity. Since then, I have fallen in love with the plants. Not only do they have healing abilities, their life cycle is nothing short of amazing!

Merlot Dreaming
The early morning sun shining through the bedroom window slowly eased its way under her closed eyelids. Carefully opening one eye, she moaned and pulled the pillow over her head. That is the price she paid for cruising through that whole bottle of wine last night. She consoled herself with the thought that at least she had the day off. She had drifted back off into a peaceful dream involving a sandy beach, a long cool fruity alcoholic beverage and a sexy man in very tight bathing trunks when a jangling wind chime in a nearby window interrupted the dream within a dream in which she was totally and actively immersed. She reached over and grabbed her ringing cell phone off the nightstand.

Green Dragon Tincture
I never for a moment suspected that at 65 years old I would be happily working in a Medical Marijuana Facility in a small town in Maine. I have indulged in a smoke or two over the years and I am a strong supporter of the medical benefits of Marijuana. I have used CBD for years and have seen some pretty remarkable healing processes brought about by this amazing and versatile plant.

Lessons Learned from the Coronavirus
I have been alive for 65 years, and I have never seen the world in such a tumbled heap. But, then I remember the stories my mother and father used to tell me about the great depression. They lived through several wars, and watched the world change from a horse and buggy lamp lit civilization to a technologically advanced arena in a hundred short years.

Diving Deeply
I just turned 64. I don't feel 64. In my mind, I feel like I am 18. I was a wife and mother from the time I was 19 until just recently. Of course I was married 3 times, but I kind of just went from one confusing and dysfunctional marriage into another.

The World of Indie
What if... in the not so far future, the scientists of the world gathered together and created the most sophisticated artificial intelligence being that has ever existed? And, what if... that "robot" was special because of its unique ability to not just gain knowledge from the world wide web, but also use reasoning? Its first and foremost program would be to use this knowledge to help humankind flourish and prosper. Its prime directive would always be to protect humankind and never to harm.

Feminine Self Love
Self love is a popular topic these days. We read about how to love ourselves in magazines and social media. And, in essence, we see a lot more about feminine self love than we do the masculine variety. Maybe that is because men aren't expected to be anything more than what they appear to be... physically, mentally, or emotionally. I am not saying that men don't have societal pressure to be more than. They just don't have as much pressure on them as their female counterparts.

Simple Living
Three years ago I wandered into one of many of life's crossroads. My roommate and I had to leave the apartment in which we had been living. We are both in our sixties, and it was an alright place for us to be. Granted, it was a basement apartment and the mold situation had made both of us sick on occasion. But, the landlord had finally installed a dehumidifier and that seemed to take care of the problem.
